Commercial Launch Dec , 2009
After several years of research and development the team at The Sunglass Fix is open for business. Their unique service specialises in replacing the lenses in damaged sunglasses. The company has engineered what it feels is one of the best all around sunglass lenses on the market and manufacturers them right here in Australia. The service allows customers to dramatically extend the useful life of their sunglasses by installing new high quality lenses instead of buying another pair. Additionally, the service saves customers significant money and they can enjoy this knowing they are also reducing thier carbon footprint. The Sunglass Fix combines their advanced technology lenses with state of art optical equipment to custom build your existing sunglasses. The company’s goal is to deliver a pair of sunglasses back to their customer that performs better than their original purchase. “We evaluated numerous sunglass lenses on the market and concluded we would have to manufacture our own lenses in Australia if we were going to meet the quality standards Australian’s deserve. We have combined some great technologies from many industries around the world to produce our lenses. The results are exciting. Not only do our lenses rank amongst the top in the industry in safety, they are durable and perform exceptionally well. I think our nanotechnology coating is our secret weapon. Laboratory tests have concluded this coating provides lenses that are up to 50 times more abrasion resistant than comparable lenses selling in sunglasses retailing for over $200 AUD new. We also allow our customers to custom build their existing sunglasses. This ensures our customers get lenses that best suit their specific lifestyle requirements. Our customers can change the colours of their lenses for varying conditions or just upgrade inexpensive sunglasses to a high quality, safe lens.” Craig Anderson – Managing Director, The Sunglass Fix Pty. Ltd. The company sells its products and services through its website at www.TheSunglassFix.com.au, over the phone on its toll free 1800 SUN FIX number, and through its e-bay store. Their unique and well designed "Home Pick Up and Delivery" service is fast, convenient, and affordable. They provide everything you need to package and ship your sunglasses in for service. You just insert your sunglasses in the provided, prepaid shipping material and your custom built sunglasses are returned to you in a few days.
